Where Is The Church Located At?
Abundant Life Baptist Church is currently located behind the Crackle Barrel at 1220 Fox Run Avenue Opelika, Al 36801 inside the USA Town Center shopping complex.
What Can I Expect?
At Abundant Life Baptist Church you will experience a warm welcome, genuine friendship, and a Spirit-Filled worship. Abundant Life is a place where life long friends are made, fellowship is real, and faith is alive and lived. We invite you to come visit us and experience church as it was in the days of old.
Where Can I Take My Children?
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For the infants, mothers will greeted by a welcome greeter to sign your child in and take down any specific information. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What About My Teens?
We have an exciting youth group at Abundant Life. At Abundant Life we believe that the youth are the leaders of tomorrow in both the secular and spiritual realm. It is our desire to create a safe, exciting, fun and spiritual learning environment for your teens. Throughout the year there are scheduled teen functions such as lock-ins, pizza parties, bowling nights, and yearly youth camps just to name a few.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Abundant Life for members or guests. Many of our ministry leaders dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Abundant Life.
Who is Pastor Dan Boatman?
Brother Dan Boatman was saved at the age of 13 and then surrendered to preach at the age of 19. He has had experience working in several different facets of ministry. He has serve in youth groups, worked in the YDC, taught and directed children church, worked on the bus ministry, and served as the Assistant Pastor at Greater Life Baptist Church. Together with his wife, Lisa, and three children Clay, Avery, and Bailey they have strong desire to help people in the Auburn/Opelika area.
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We don’t invite you to Abundant Life Baptist for your money. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
