The Purpose of Abundant Life Baptist Church
The purpose of Abundant Life Baptist Church is to be an Old Fashion, Bible Believing, Bible Preaching, Bible Praying, and Bible Praising Church that has a heart for reaching people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ both locally, and globally.
The Plan of Abundant Life Baptist Church
Our Plan is to Glorify God by reaching people with the Gospel, discipling them to become mature Christians, and training them to be ministers of the Gospel both locally and globally.
The Process of Abundant Life Baptist Church
We fulfill our purpose by Loving God, Loving People, and Serving Both.
The Essential and Nonessential Beliefs of Abundant Life Baptist Church:
■ In Essential Beliefs We Have Unity
Ephesians 4:4-6 “There is one body, and one Spirit , even as ye are called in one hoe of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
■ In Nonessential Beliefs We Have Liberty
Romans 14:1 “Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.”
Romans 14:4 “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be held up: for God is able to make him stand”
Romans 14:12 “So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God”
Romans 14:22 “Hast thou faith? Have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.”

I Corinthians 13:2 “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.”
Our Essential Beliefs:
■ About God
God is the Creator of the universe. He was eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. Genesis 1 and Psalms 90:2
■ About Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Jesus was born of from the virgin Mary. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven’s glory and will return again someday to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

■ About the Holy Spirit
He is present in the world to convict, draw, teach and to guide. He is received by every believer upon the moment of their salvation and we are to live under his control. II Corinthians 3:17 and Galatians 5:25
■ About the Bible
The Bible is God’s word. It is inspired by God. It is perfect, pure and has been preserved by God. It is truth without any error. The King James Bible shall be the official and only translation used by Abundant Life Baptist Church

■ About People
People are made in God’s image but have been marred by sin, thus separated from God. Genesis 1:27 and Romans 3:23
■ About Salvation
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. Salvation is by grace and faith alone. Abundant Life does not hold to nor will tolerate the views of Calvinism or Armenianism. We believe the Bible pertaining to salvation.
Romans 6:23 and Ephesians 2:8-9
■ About Eternal Security
Salvation is eternal and secured for the believer because his/her salvation is hidden and anchored in Christ Jesus alone. John 10:29 and Hebrews 7:25
■ About Eternity
People were created to exist forever, either in heaven or in hell. Heaven and Hell are real, literal, tangible places. John 3:16 and Revelations 20:15
